HotSpot Prepaid Ticket  system  is an interesting solution  to run the hotspot wireless service  efficiently.

The system hosted by the centralised databased service provider managed by cherasnet.com, a local based RF Engineer Team specialized in WiFI  hotspot  development.  

SOLUTION 1- PC router based hotspot with prepaid tickets facility 

The system requires : 

1) an internet service line such as streamyx/wimax or 3G broadband connected  to the PC Router. 

2) A PC Router specially built  using refurbished Pentium 1 Class with 64MB RAM and 3GB          Harddisk.  

3) A Wifi Router of any brand either wifi-G or Wifi-N . You can also have multiple routers connected to increase coverage. No need to flash with DDWRT. The original firmware is sufficient .

We recommend to  use  PC router based hostspot system for stability and performance  as compared to direct connection to the wireless router. Eventhough the direct connection is also possible but not recomended especially with heavy user connected simultaneously.

User shall  see the AP as non secured and quickly joining the network, but without a valid ticket, their access to internet shall be diverted to the hotspot login page. There is no room for naughty users  to hack the AP to gain access to internet  as the access protection is provided by the PC routers.  The AP is set to run on  open scheme without any WEP keys. This is to facilitate direct connection without hassles such as  entering   the security keys.

All access to the AP administration panel  via wireless  shall be disabled  to ensure proper security against irresponsible user.

The PC router is highly recommended   in the heavy usage enviroment  serving upto  500 simultaenous user without performance degradation. The Pc router also include flat database php based site portal that can be used by the hotspot owner to advertise the relevant service and product to the customers.

Cost Of setup

1) Pc router with hotspot gateway  and Site Portal will cost  RM300.00(P1/P2) and RM600.00(P3/P4).  The PC router was built from the refurbished fully working PC. No keyboad/mouse or monitor is required and the administration can be done via web interface or ssh login from any Windows PC in your network.

Pentium 1 PCs consume 50% less of electricity compared to Pentium 2 as well as the other higher range CPUs.  Monthly consumption average in the region of RM30-RM40.00. On the other hand Pentium 2/3/4 need at least  RM70.00 permonth for  the continuous operation. 

We also accept your request to host  the PC router system on the 100% new PC upon your request. 

Warranty

1) One to One warranty swap is provided when you purchase 2 Pc routers in one purchase order. Under normal situation, we only provide 3 months limited warranty which include free labour cost only. 

3) Access ticket can be purchased from us  at 20% of the ticket price. Assuming your ticket price is RM5.00. You only have to pay RM1.00 per ticket and you gain RM4.00 when the ticket is sold to your customer.

5) We shall email the purchase ticket to the hotspot owner using pdf format. Payment is to be made via maybank2u service.

6) Ticket Price and scheme is adjustable to suit your requirement.  

7) No Monthly or annual  usage fee charges.

8) Except for the owner account, Simultaenous login using the same ticket is not allowed  by the system.
